Sacred Work

“The Soul always

What’s new?

 March 21, 2017- Happy Spring!

After taking two years to heal my back and graduate from Nursing School, I have returned to my healing practice and my previous soul work along with new endeavors. I am deep into the field work with death and dying through holistic care for the elderly, applying old skills with new at the greatest retirement community in the state!

I’m thrilled to be again teaching in nature with children through Taproot Nature Experience in the Sprouts spring semester and for several weeks of camp this summer. I have also been asked to offer more mindfulness classes in the community at both the Iowa City and Coralville Public Libraries. Upcoming courses are for young women through the Waves program.

With deep gratitude, I am offering massage and Reiki in my 17 year practice, Sacred Space Bodywork.  It’s inspiring to again be integrating my art within the science of healthcare. I love the work, my clients are appreciative and I am excited to seek out new venues,  both hospital and home care.

In fact, I am in the process of creating Conscious Caring, direct in-home care for recovering and hospice patients. I also plan to offer curriculum for families so that they can gain more confidence in supporting their family members and remembering to practice self care while doing so.

I will offer my services as a birth doula beginning with autumn due dates and am currently scheduling postpartum doula services for families with newborns.

This winter I was blessed to mentor the organizer of a new annual birth summit and then enjoy attending and presenting for the first time!  The Conscious Birth Summit platform will soon roll out as a series. Stay tuned.

Let’s discuss your goals for optimal health and healing and together help you plan for the support you need.

With love,
Kristin
